Dino Diego Rosebrock was born in the early morning (3:24am) of March 17, 2006. St. Patricks Day. He was 9lb 8oz and 21.5 inches Both April and Dino are doing well. My mom said he is a beautiful baby. More details and pictures to come later.
Dana Cherry is acting in the lead role of The Threepenny Opera at College of Marin. It shows through March 19th, 2006.
April is going in to be induced today. She missed her due date last week and was scheduled to be induced today. She goes in at 8am. They are first going to break her water. If that doesn’t start labor they will then give her drugs to induce labor. Little Dino will be born some time today depending on how long April is in labor for. I’ll post an update and pictures as soon as I know anything.
John Diego is back home from the recovery hospital. He came home on Sunday afternoon. He is doing well and much happier to be back home. We had a bit of a scare over the weekend. They took him off sedatives on Friday and his blood pressure dropped. On Saturday he was taken to the Emergency Room of Marin General. They checked him out and released him back to the recovery hospital. He progressed enough since then to be released to go home the following day. Welcome home Grandpa!
We visited John today at a recovery hostipal in Marin. He is looking “Super”! He is a little bored laying around hospital, but is doing good. He has been up and walking around since the day he had the surgery. He has even climbed stairs. He should be out of the recovery hospital by the end of the week. We asked him when he’d be back working at the church and John said the doctor told him to “take a week off”.
April went to the doctor on Thursday. She is dilated 2 cm and is 70% effaced. The doctor said it could happen any day now. April is hoping for this weekend. I’ll post pictures as soon as it happens.
